Hello again!

I haven't really got anything interesting to report guys, it's been a fairly ordinary week so far.

Kinda buckling down to do work now, I'l actually started to touch my books and read them. I haven't started highlighting, cause I'm always like that with new books. I can't bear to! Technically half my books are 2nd hand, but still!

How much did you guys spend on books? I've spent almost like, 100 pounds, and I did try to get 2nd hands and what not. OUTRAGEOUS! Bah. Mil I will give you priority to buy my stuff if you come. Hurhurhurhur.

I think I've been a bit pampered by you guys. I've realised I've become rusty in the "talking about surface things", and it frustrates me a little! There is only so much small talk you can make. I've always been one to want to know more about people, but I don't want to come off as a creepy stalker person. How did I manage it in JC? It was only 2 years ago, but I feel like I've known some of you for ages.

Just as a general rule, I don't have morning class on friday. That means I'm usually online from 4ish to 6ish you guy's time. So thats a good one for skyping. Weekends too, I suppose, but give me some kind of notice? I'll try to wake up earlier. Hahaha.

RANDOM THINGS ABOUT LONDON YOU DIDN'T KNOW! (or might)

-Don't know if I've mentioned this before, but hangers are free! From ANY clothing place! Just ask them, and they can just dump 20 in your bag! DO NOT EVER BUY THEM!

-Jay-walking is okay! As long as you don't die doing it.

-Their fries(CHIPS) are fat and potato-y! Like mos burger's! Not like macdonald's!

-There are not very many fastfoods! Not like sg. There are more cafes and fish and chip places!

-In any chinese restuarant, any dish with the word "SINGAPORE" in it, just means it has CURRY POWDER. Like "Singapore Fried Noodles/Rice", just means its fried with curry powder! I don't know why they think we put curry powder in everything, I only ever put curry powder in... well, curry.

-People sometimes call pounds 'quid'.

-They, REALLY like their booze here. REALLLLLLLLLY.

-There is absolutely NO reception in the tube(aka mrt). NONE. For any service as far as I know. No more texting in the train guys!

-In buses and trains, people leave behind newspapers everywhere. Not REALLY litter, but apparently it's for the next person who sits there to read. Passing it on!

-There are advertisements for BOOKS. Just normal fiction books. A lot too! I guess they are more well read than us.

-There are ambulances/police cars/fire engines EVERYWHERE. Practically every night I will hear a siren WAIL past. Also, people give way to their emergency vehicles like, A LOT. They will totally move out of the way and stop if they have to, to let them pass. It's good, but then I've heard that many a time these ambulances or whatever aren't REALLY in an emergency, they just turn on the siren to by pass traffic.

Okay these are all I can think of for now, I will add to the list when I think of more!
